ISLAMABAD: Following reports of his divorce with Reham Khan, PTI chairman Imran Khan said on Friday it was a ‘painful time’ for both the families and called for respect of their individual privacy.
“This is a painful time for me and Reham Khan and our families. I would request everyone to respect our privacy,” he said in a message on microblogging website Twitter.
Khan said that he has the greatest respect for Reham’s moral character and her passion to work for and help the underprivileged segments of the society.
He denounced reports and speculation in the media about any financial settlement.
Earlier, PTI spokesman Naeemul Haq confirmed to Samaa that the couple has parted ways, adding that they have divorced with mutual consent.-Samaa
