KARACHI: Cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan’s ex-spouse, who has been playing victim since her divorce, Thursday, termed her ten-month-long marriage with the former playboy as a nightmare, Samaa reported.


In a recent interview to British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) Asian Network, Reham Khan has alleged that she was being “demonised” since parted her ways with the charismatic political leader –even accused to trying to poison Khan.

She said that whenever a woman was divorced the everyone would jump on the bandwagon of haters.


“Despite the fact that it’s strictly a matter of two persons, her having been divorced gives them bullies a license to assassinate her character,” she said adding, “It’s not a crime to be a divorcee.”


The most hurting thing for her was Khan’s turning a blind eye to her children’s bashing on the social media, said he.

“No one ever tried to show any civility whatsoever or fathom the facts,” said he.


TV journalist continues to make headlines and allegedly mint some good money too by washing in public the ‘dirty linen’ of her overdebated divorce with the PTI captain.


Experts say she is likely suffering from Post-Divorce Stress Syndrome (PDSS), which is not going to subside anytime soon.

Opposition leader and former cricketer divorced for a second time, ending his marriage to a TV journalist just ten months after they wed.


Imran Khan, 62, married 42-year-old Reham Khan, a divorced mother of three, in January this year in a simple ceremony at his Islamabad home.
