PPP outraged on ‘organized rigging’ in Badin

Zulfiqar Mirza Badin 19-11

KARACHI: Having been routed at the hands of Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza’s group in Badin, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leveled charges of glaring ‘organized rigging’ in Mirza’s stronghold.

According to PPP Sindh spokesman, organized rigging was carried through in Thursday’s elections in Badin against People’s Party. The spokesman also cited that as many as 22 polling stations were shifted only some hours before the Local Government elections.

The PPP mouthpiece also pointed out that the party’s District Badin General Secretary Aziz Memon was collared and kept detained for five hours.

“We will make public the evidences of rigging in the LG polls before long,” the spokesman asserted.
