VEHARI: Three persons including a PTI candidate were injured in a clash between supporters of two main rival candidates during polling here on Saturday.
The clash occured at UC-26, ward no.2 Luddan town, about 27 km away from Vehari city, due to which polling was suspended for three hours. The process was later restarted.
PTI candidate Ishfaq Doultana, Ayyaz Doultana and Faryad Doultana were were reportedly injured in the clash.
All the three injured were shifted to DHQ hospital Vehari.
DPO Sadiq Ali Dogar along with police force reached the spot. – APP
