ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain on Friday said the government was determined to fully implement the National Action Plan and restore complete peace throughout the country.
In this regard, he added, the operation against terrorists will continue till complete elimination of the menace of terrorism.
The President was talking to National Security Advisor, Lt.Gen. (R) Nasser Khan Janjua, who called on him here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr. Matters pertaining to national security and the law and order situation prevailing in the country were discussed in the meeting.
The president felicitated Lt. Gen. (R) Nasser Khan Janjua on his appointment as National Security Advisor and wished him well in discharge of his responsibilities.
Advisor to Chief Minister Balochistan, Jamal Shah Kakar and Mir Abdul Kareem Nousherwani, MPA Balochistan also separately called on the President here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Friday.
They briefed the President about the law and order situation in Balochistan and apprised him of the ongoing development schemes in the province. – APP
